Get to Know the Stylin' Paws Team
Family Owned Dog Grooming and Daycare
Lifelong pet lovers, Scot and Sherry Dickerson knew the Des Moines area needed a daycare service where doggy parents could trust their pets would be safe while having fun. By adding full-service grooming to their services, Stylin’ Paws truly feels like a spa for our doggy guests. You can be sure that each pet and their owner will be treated with the utmost respect. In fact, don’t be surprised when we greet your dog before you. We can’t help it. We’re dog people!
Reducing Stress During Grooming
Extensive research in environmental stressors for dogs has helped us create a calming, friendly space. Through the use of advanced sound reducing techniques, stressors like hearing other dogs playing or people having a conversation elsewhere in the building are greatly reduced. Additionally, we use tranquil audio throughout, proven to help create a relaxing experience. We also made sure to pay special attention to creating a place that’s visually appealing to dogs’ senses by designing with colors proven to help calm dogs.
Dog Daycare Tours
We understand how stressful a new setting can be for dogs and that’s why we offer tours or our facility for both you and your pup, so we can all get an idea of whether our daycare will be the right fit. To make sure your dog and our daycare pups are kept safe and aren’t overstimulated, these tours take place after hours.
Visiting Stylin’ Paws
When you enter Stylin’ Paws, you’ll notice an equally serene experience for you, the dog parent. In our generous seating area, you can enjoy beverages, our free wi-fi, and massage chairs. Yes. We have massage chairs in our waiting area.
